Oh no, thanks for sharing your feedback, Stacey! We didn’t experience this when testing the recipe; however, I went ahead and updated the instructions for the marshmallows to be added to the butter first, then the vanilla and salt. This will provide a “barrier” between the browned butter and vanilla and should prevent any splattering. We appreciate your input!

Had issue with adding the vanilla to the melted butter, it sprayed everywhere, lots of hot butter and vanilla. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you

I may or may not have eaten nearly the entire pan all by myself!

I added about 2 teaspoons of cinnamon along with the vanilla and it really took it to the next level.

Salty, nutty and sweet hit all the right notes! This recipe is a keeper for sure!!

I halved the recipe. The brown butter instructions were helpful. I never got brown bits maybe because I was stirring too much but the mixture turned an amber color and I immediately added the marshmallows and vanilla (no salt because I used salted butter). They taste like bakery rice crispy treats . They have a real “bliss factor” – addictive!

It’s an instant crowd pleaser & has everyone asking “what is the secret ingredient?” The browned butter levels these up from an after-school-snack, to a dinner party dessert! My only edit is to 2 tsp of vanilla.

Thank you Tessa for this recipe!!
